We were the guests this week of the Band of the Royal Corps of Signals at an Armistice Day Concert and Service at the magnificent Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Northampton.
The Crusader Round at Holy Sepulchre Church has long been associated with the local military and the packed audience enjoyed a fine selection of appropriate concert items before the traditional Service of Remembrance.
This was one of the first concerts the band has undertaken since the launch of their latest CD ‘A Christmas Message’ in which the appreciative audience showed great interest.
The visit gave us the opportunity for a photograph after the concert which shows one of the band’s cornet/trumpet players Musician Jenine Simmons. To learn more about the band visit their website at www.army.mod.uk/music/corps-band/445.aspx.
