We have spent a very warm weekend recording the Halifax Concert Band in the welcoming but somewhat cooler surroundings of St Mark’s Church, Siddal, Halifax.
The Band is a full sized self supporting concert band, some forty strong with a complement of enthusiastic and competent players.
The music recorded features a number of fine compositions and arrangements by the Band’s Musical Director Christopher Binns in addition to a selection of popular marches, stage, film and television music.
We have already made a start on the editing and the final product will be available after the summer.
