We have recently received a copy of the review in the ‘Conductor’ magazine of our recent CD ‘A Bit on the Slide’, the solo album by Simon Johnson the Principal Trombone with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
The magazine is published by the National Association of Brass Band Conductors and the review includes phrases such as “just brilliant“, “well engineered” and “virtuosic” and concludes “I found it difficult to believe it was all recorded on the one weekend. But with a professional like Simon Johnson – no problem..I loved this disc.”
