“Them Basses” with Leyland Band MHP419

We have spent three days this week in a beautiful part of sunny Lancashire recording their latest and our second CD project with the Leyland Band.

As the title implies this latest venture features their tuba section. In addition to a fine selection of solos from the band’s Principals Chris Doran and Bill Carter, there are four excellent and varied tuba quartets.

The CD will be launched at Leyland’s Matinee concert at the Lancastrian Suite, Chorley Town Hall on the 23rd of September 2019. This event falls between their forthcoming appearances at the British Open Championships in Birmingham and the National Brass Band Championships in London.

You can learn more about the band by visiting their website and Facebook pages.
