“Celebration” is the new CD by the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, Youth and Children’s Bands.
Recorded in late October in the beautiful surroundings of Repton School in Derbyshire. the music programme includes new items by Lucy Pankhurst, Jonathan Bates and the Norwegian, Fredrik Schjelderup. In addition, there are arrangements by the Organisation’s founder Dr Denis Wright and its current Director of Artistic Planning Dr Robert Childs.
Currently, the Band exists to give the brightest young brass and percussion musicians the opportunity to develop their musicianship play together and inspire others.
