Band of the Coldstream Guards

We have spent a second week in London with the Royal Corps of Army Music.

Recording at the studio of the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment at RAF Northolt we were guests of the Band of the Coldstream Guards who are currently furthering three different projects.

The first of these involved eleven marches which will be played processionally at the King’s Coronation which takes place on Saturday 6^th of May.

The second involves the recording of marches, including new compositions, which will be used at the King’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) which takes place on Saturday 17^th of June,.

Both recordings, and those from last week’s project by the Band of the Welsh Guards, will be included in a new commemorative double CD which will be available from the 1^st of June 2023.

The third day with the Coldstream Guards featured music which will be heard at the Military Music Spectacular which will be held on Horse Guards Parade in London on the 4^th, 5^th and 6^th of July.

This music will be available for free download via the website of the Household Division.
