Celebration NYBBGB MHP121 brass band CD recording

“Celebration” is the new CD by the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, Youth and Children’s Bands.

Recorded in late October in the beautiful surroundings of Repton School in Derbyshire. the music programme includes new items by Lucy Pankhurst, Jonathan Bates and the Norwegian, Fredrik Schjelderup. In addition, there are arrangements by the Organisation’s founder Dr Denis Wright and its current Director of Artistic Planning Dr Robert Childs.

The project celebrates the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the NYBBGB in 1952. Currently, the Band exists to give the brightest young brass and percussion musicians the opportunity to develop their musicianship play together and inspire others.

The project has now been sent for manufacture and should be on sale from the 6th of December. However, copies of the CD can be preordered from our On-Line Shop.
